Welcome to the web site of The Ancaster Quilters’ Guild!  At this time The Ancaster Quilters’ Guild is capped with 115 members.   We gather at our monthly general meetings to learn and share about quilt making.

How to Join our Guild

Membership fees are $30 for the guild year (September 1st to June 30th).  Fees are $25 annually for returning members.  Your membership entitles you to attend the monthly general meetings and  includes a name tag, a membership card, plus the current list of members’ names, addresses and telephone numbers.  Also included is the Guild newsletter and links, which are published monthly on the website.

We have capped our membership to be 115 members.

Guests may accompany members for a fee of $5.

We are currently at capacity and have started a waiting list

General Meetings

General meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, from September to June.  We meet at St. John’s Parish Hall on Halson Avenue in Ancaster.  Doors open at 7:00 pm and the meeting begins at 7:30 pm.

Please note:  Our meetings need to be fragrance/scent-free due to the allergies of some of our members.  Thank you!

General meetings regularly include:
    • brief updates from the executive and its sub-                 committees
    • show-and-share
    • block-of-the-month
    • social time with refreshments
    • 50/50 draw and draw prizes
    • the monthly program

The program portion of the meeting may include:
    • guest speakers
    • hands-on instruction
    • work towards our community outreach efforts
    • and more!
